Who we are

Outfox Studios LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the mobile app Wordit (“App”).

Information we collect & why

We collect data to operate the App, improve features, deliver updates, and support monetization through advertising.

1. Usage & analytics data
  • Examples: screens viewed, session duration, in-app events (e.g., app open, game start/win), app version, approximate location (city/region), device and OS info.

  • Provider(s): Google Firebase Analytics.

  • Purpose: measure app performance, improve features, inform product decisions.

2. Stability & crash data
  • Examples: crash traces, device/OS info, app version.

  • Provider(s): Firebase Crashlytics.

  • Purpose: diagnose and fix crashes or non-fatal errors.

3. Feature configuration data
  • Examples: app version and device context used to fetch feature flags or content variants.

  • Provider(s): Firebase Remote Config.

  • Purpose: safely roll out features, updates, and content.

4. Advertising & monetization data
  • Examples: ad requests, impressions, clicks, approximate location - In our current version we have disabled collection of IDFA.

  • Provider(s): Google AdMob and other advertising partners we may integrate with (e.g., Meta Audience Network or future ad platforms).

  • Purpose: improve app experience through observation of user behaviort, report revenue.

No IDFA tracking (Apple devices):

  • We do not access the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) on iOS devices and do not present Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency prompt. We rely on contextual advertising and ad networks that do not require device-level tracking.

  • We use aggregate ad performance metrics and impression-level revenue data to help us understand how our advertising performs and to improve future campaigns. For example, we may share anonymous events such as app downloads, in-app purchases, or onboarding completions with advertising partners like Meta for aggregate measurement and attribution purposes.

  • These events do not include the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or any other user-level identifiers, and we do not allow partners to use this data for cross-app or cross-device tracking. Because we do not collect or share the IDFA, our app does not display Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) prompt.
